A mechanic Late Shri Hans Raj Sharma started his carrier in 1930's by starting a repairing shop of house hold sewing machines from the historical village Shri Guru Nankana Sahib now in Pakistan in their repairing business Late Shri Krishan Lal Sharma & his elder son Late Shri Suraj kanwal Sharma involved with him. After partition his elder son Late SHRI SUAJ KANWAL SHARMA started job work to fitting for house hold sewing machines and Zig - Zag Embroidery Machines & keep supplying machines in local & domestic markets.
In1977 Late Shri SurajKanwal Sharma made aari machines (Single Thread Handle operated chain stitch Embroidery Machines) as a repairer & small manufacturer for local Punjab market. Now family grows and other family members Late shri Ramesh kumar sharma, shri Ravi shanker sharma and late shri Bhasker dev sharma get involve in this business & started manufacturing these machines for exporters with his sons CHARANJIT SHARMA & LATE SHRI NARINDER MOHAN SHARMA later on started exporting these machines to African Countries, Gulf Countries & other Developing Countries. Since 1980's to till now these family members establish their name as manufacturers,importers & exporters of Indian sewing machines and parts,auto parts,cycle parts,hydrolic pumps,used machinery, used photocopiers and any kind of special purpose machinery and parts thereof under the company named S.K.SHARMA&SONS (REGD.) jointly.
In 2005 Shri Charanjit Sharma s/o Late Shri Suraj Kanwal Sharma started a new company named Sukam Exports to expand their export market. This Sukam Exports company involved in products promotion,online advertising & real estate business etc Since 1995.
